# Emmanuel S. O. Ayedoun

> Associate Professor, Department of Electrical, Electronic and Information Engineering, Kansai University (Osaka, Japan). Human-Computer Interaction researcher specializing in emotionally intelligent embodied conversational agents, educational AI, affective computing, and second language learning support. Born in Cotonou, Benin; Ph.D. in Informatics from Osaka Prefecture University (2020, JSPS DC1 Fellow). Currently (2026) visiting scholar at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona.
